Likewise, these easy-to-use cartridges deliver maximum water to carbon contact. Each Cartridge is color coded by size to make it easy to select the correct cartridge for your Penguin BIO-Wheel Filter.

Penguin Power Filters: Easy and Effective Filtration

Rite-Size Filter Cartridges fit Penguin Power Filters. These filters provide easy and effective3-stage filtration for a clean and healthy aquatic environment.

Stage 1: Mechanical Filtration

At this stage, the Penguin Rite-Size Filter Cartridge floss screens out dirt and debris and utilizes a patented ribbed back for maximum water to carbon contact.

Stage 2: Chemical Filtration

Black Diamond Premium Activated carbon works to remove odors, discoloration, and impurities.

Stage 3: Biological Filtration

The patented BIO-Wheel eliminates toxic ammonia and nitrite on contact and is designed to grow the beneficial bacteria needed for biological filtration. The BIO-Wheel now features 50% more surface area.

Directions/How to Use

1. Thoroughly rinse the Rite-Size Filter Cartridge to remove any excess carbon dust.
2. Install filter with the blue side of the cartridge facing the back of the filter box.
3. For best results, replace monthly.
