Pruning – The Reluctant Gardener

Pruning Deciduous Shrubs

All early-flowering shrubs need routine removal of damaged, diseased or dead wood.

Annual pruning encourages plenty of new growth and larger flowers for the coming year.

Bedding roses such as hybrid tea and floribundas get hard pruned in late winter/early spring.
